I was delighted to accompany Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Frances Fitzgerald to the official open of Kildare first women’s and children refuge at Teach Tearmainn.
The opening of two fully furnished residential apartments at the refuge is the result of commitment and hard work from Jacinta Carey and her team at Teach Tearmainn. The Minister acknowledged the work of the team and the huge need for such facilities in the area.
