Kildare South TD and Fine Gael Party Chairman Martin Heydon welcomed Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to Kildare South last Monday where he officially opened his new office on Leinster St in Athy.
“I am delighted that an Taoiseach accepted my invitation to open my office in Athy. Due to a significant increase in the level of representations I was receiving from the Athy area I moved to open an office in the town earlier this year. I am proud to represent the Athy area having previously served as a Councillor on Kildare County Council for the Athy district.
“The opening of my office on Leinster St proves my commitment to continue to work hard for this area and leaves me better placed to engage directly with Athy’s residents, businesses and Community groups.
“The office is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with Cllr Ivan Keatley holding a clinic on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.
