Recently in the Dáil I raised the need for progression on the upgrade of the rail track through Newbridge to Kildare town from 2 lines to 4, as part of the Kildare route rail project. I also raised the need to extend the short hop zone from Sallins to Newbridge in light of the significant fare disparity for Kildare South commuters. An issue I will continue to fight for change to.
