This funding allocated from Project Ireland 2040 to KWETB, as part of the continuous investment in the further education and training (FET) sector, can be utilized for small-scale projects involving infrastructure improvement, as well as equipment acquisition.
“KWETB can make use of this grant to undertake various works, including but not limited to, enhancing computer and science labs, replacing apprenticeship equipment, conducting roof repairs, and executing planned improvements on FET buildings.
“KWETB has been a cornerstone of accessible and inclusive education and training in Kildare, empowering people to realize their full potential across the county so I look forward to the future impact this funding will have for courses in further education.” concluded Minister Heydon
